The New 2019 Ford Ranger Design Is Being Put to the Test

The 2019 Ford Ranger is being put to the test. This model is currently in the testing stage, which means Ford engineers are taking it on rough outback trails in Australia and in the sweltering Arizona desert. Pushed to survive some of the harshest environments in North America and Australia, the new 2019 Ranger design is proving just how durable it truly is.

The 2019 Ranger features several new systems, such as a Terrain Management System, Trail Control, and blind spot monitoring with trailer support. The Ranger is held to the same standards as the proven Ford F-150 when it comes to durability, making it the perfect outdoor warrior to accompany your next arduous adventure.

“We torture every component—from its high-strength steel frame to its EcoBoost® engine to its cloth and leather-trimmed seats—to ensure Ranger is ready for any season and nearly any terrain,” said Rick Bolt, Ford Ranger chief engineer.

The Ranger is also being tested at Ford’s Michigan Proving Grounds, a testing area so intense that real drivers are replaced with robotic drivers. The Ranger will be tested for overall durability, capability, handling, and safety before it hits the U.S. market in early 2019.

Until then, stop by Jimmy Michel Motors to test drive our available Ford models and get the latest update about the 2019 Ranger release.

2018 Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang is the original pony car, a classic muscle car that’s built with performance, quality, and affordability in mind. This model has become an American standard, a powerful car that’s all about performance. To celebrate the classic pony car, we’re hosting the Sixth Annual Mustang Mania and Ford Show.

The event will be held on June 21 at our dealership, and it includes seven distinct classes. The first five classes are for Mustangs from a specific year, while the final two classes are for other Ford models and Ford trucks. The show and shine will start by 9am, and the registration deadline for the judging is noon. Awards will be given out at 1pm.

Here’s how the classes are broken down and trophies are awarded:

  • Mustang Class 1 – 1964 to 1973
  • Mustang Class 2 – 1974 to 1983
  • Mustang Class 3 – 1984 to 1993
  • Mustang Class 4 – 1994 to 2004
  • Mustang Class 5 – 2005 to present
  • Class 6 – other Ford models
  • Class 7 – Ford trucks

Stop by with your Ford for a chance to win one of the trophies. All the proceeds from this benefit go to the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, and our welcoming group will be happy to talk shop with you during the show.
